Professional services
An internal workflow tool
A team is running a core process across email, documents and spreadsheets.
Map the real workflow, design a first version that staff can complete without extra training, and replace the most error-prone hand-offs.
Specialist service business
A clearer service website
The current site describes many services but does not help a visitor decide what to do next.
Rebuild the information architecture, write a clearer offer, and launch a fast, accessible site with a single primary enquiry route.
Small operations team
Connected systems instead of rekeying
The same customer or job data is copied between a form, a CRM and a spreadsheet.
Connect the existing tools, add failure alerts, and document who owns the workflow after launch.
Work directly with Matthew
I am Matthew Cordon, the person behind MJCIT. I help small businesses, founders and professional service firms design, build and support apps, websites, integrations and practical IT solutions. You work with me directly from the first conversation through launch and ongoing improvement.
I start with the business problem rather than a favourite tool. That might mean shaping a first version of an application, improving an existing digital service, connecting systems that do not talk to each other, or providing clear technical guidance when you need a second opinion.
I stay involved from discovery through delivery, so you do not have to translate decisions between sales, design and development teams. I explain the trade-offs, document the important decisions and build with future maintenance in mind.
More about MJCITCommon questions
What types of project do you take on?
I work on defined app, website, automation and IT improvement projects for small businesses. Send a short outline and I will confirm whether the work fits MJCIT or whether a different specialist would be better.
Can you improve an existing system?
Yes. I can review the current product, codebase or workflow and recommend the smallest useful set of changes. Access and technical quality are assessed before I commit to modifying an inherited system.
How do projects start?
We begin with a short call. If there is a good fit, I provide a written scope covering the intended outcome, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, timing and commercial basis.
How much does a project cost?
The cost depends on scope, risk and the level of design or integration involved. After an initial conversation, I will recommend a fixed discovery stage, a defined project price, a day rate or a retained arrangement.
Do you provide ongoing support?
Support can be agreed as part of the project handover or as a separate retained service. The response time, included work and exclusions are written down so both sides know what is covered.
